I work on individual pieces which are either my own projects or commissioned work. My sculptures are exclusively of a fugurative nature, often involving characters and animals from mythology or cosmological emblems.

I use local brick shale which is a coarse open clay that fires to a warm terracotta. As it is used to make bricks, it has good weatherability and is an excellent medium for sculptures intended for outside display.

Recent Commissions (1996-1999)

'Neptune' Fountain - Next Ness Nurseries, Ulverston
'Fish' Fountain - Essex
'Eponymous Hare' (above) - for Tinner's Rabbit, Ulverston
'The Stations of The Cross' - St Bernards School

I have also created numerous wall plaques, house signs, fountains, animals...

My work can be seen in person at the Tinner's Rabbit, Ulverston, or by appointment at my address above.
